Warnings
- Protects only against particles (dust, smoke, mist), not against gases and vapours.
- Against carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic substances, radioactive substances and biological agents of risk group 3 only after a risk assessment.
- Wear for one working shift at most (NR), then dispose of it. If breathing resistance becomes noticeably high, replace the mask at once.
- Oxygen content at least 17 % by volume. The type and concentration of hazardous substances must be known. If there is a risk of oxygen deficiency, too high a concentration or unknown conditions, use breathing apparatus that is independent of the ambient air.
- Do not use with a beard, sideburns or deep scars in the sealing area. Check the face seal every time you put the mask on.
The instructions for use of the product are authoritative.

Folding mask: store flat, ready in seconds
The 6203 is supplied folded flat and only opened out when put on. It can be stocked at the workplace without taking much space and fits flat in a pocket or drawer. For visitors, contractors and short-notice jobs it is quick to hand.
Without valve for areas with hygiene requirements
The 6203 has no exhalation valve; exhaled air passes through the filter material. This makes it suitable where the surroundings are to be protected as well, for example in food processing, in care or in clean production areas. Whether the mask meets the hygiene requirements of your area is set by your hygiene concept.
For long wearing and in warm conditions a mask with a valve is more comfortable, for example the FFP2 mask 6201.
Packaging: 20 per box in a foil bag
The masks come 20 to a box, each in a foil bag. If you need larger quantities, order through the B2B shop or ask for an offer.
Limits of FFP2
FFP2 is permitted up to 10 times the limit value. Against carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic substances, radioactive substances and biological agents of risk group 3 only after a risk assessment. Above that you need FFP3 or a half mask with P3 filter.
Unfold, put on, check the face seal
- 01
Unfold the mask
Open the folded mask in your hand until it holds its shape. The nose clip is at the top.
- 02
Put on the mask
Place the mask over nose and mouth and guide the straps over the head as shown in figures 1 to 5 of the instructions for use.
- 03
Adjust the nose clip
Press the nose clip exactly over the nose and squeeze it gently until the mask fits snugly.
- 04
Check the face seal
Cup the mask with both hands and exhale forcefully. If air escapes at the nose, press the clip down harder, otherwise move or shorten the elastic bands.
- 05
Wear for one shift
Wear the mask for one working shift at most. If breathing becomes harder, replace it at once and start again with a new mask.

Frequently asked questions
What does NR mean for the 6203?
NR means not reusable: wear for one working shift at most, then dispose of it.
Why does the folding mask have no valve?
Without a valve, exhaled air also passes through the filter material. This matters when the surroundings are to be protected from the wearer.
How many masks are in one pack?
20 per box in a foil bag.
Can I wear the folding mask with glasses?
That depends on face shape and glasses. What matters is that the mask seals. If needed, order samples and check the fit with your actual safety glasses.
Is the mask suitable for protection against gases?
No, it only filters particles. For gases and vapours there are the respirator filters.
