Warnings
- Replace gas filters according to a change schedule, at the latest when odour, taste or irritation is noticed. Then leave the area immediately.
- Do not use filters containing activated carbon for firefighting, near open flames or with molten metal splashes.
- Filters do not supply oxygen: do not use where the oxygen content may be too low (below 19.5 % by volume according to the instructions for use), in tanks, pits, shafts and confined spaces, or if the substance and its concentration are not known.
- Use only with the AirGuard Pro masks named in the documents.
The instructions for use of the product are authoritative.

When A1E1P3 fits
When particles occur as well as solvent vapours or acid gases, for example spray mist. Gas class 1 is permitted up to 0.1 % by volume gas concentration (1,000 ml/m³). The filter does not protect against inorganic gases (type B) and ammonia (type K); for these there is the AGABEKK1P3.
With the half mask AG360 the filter is permitted up to 30 times the workplace exposure limit under DGUV Rule 112-190, with the full-face mask AG700 up to 400 times. How the protection level is calculated is explained under Half mask or full-face mask.
R and D
R indicates that the particle filter may be used beyond one shift, D that it passed the dolomite dust test and clogs more slowly. According to the instructions for use the filter can be kept airtight until the next shift and is disposed of after the second shift.
Replace the gas filter part according to a change schedule, at the latest when odour, taste or irritation is noticed. How a change schedule is drawn up is explained under Changing filters.
Using correctly
- 01
Open only at the place of use
Take the filter out of its packaging immediately before use and check the expiry date on the filter.
- 02
Fit in pairs
Place two identical filters on the bayonet connections of the mask and turn until they sit firmly.
- 03
Check the face seal
Place the palm of your hand over the exhalation valve and exhale slowly. If air escapes at the edge of the mask, reposition it and tighten the straps. Before every use.
- 04
Replace in good time
According to the change schedule, at the latest when odour, taste or irritation is noticed. Replace the filter too if breathing becomes harder. Always replace both filters together.
