Warnings
- Filters do not supply oxygen: do not use where the oxygen content may be too low (below 19.5 % by volume according to the instructions for use), in tanks, pits, shafts and confined spaces, or if the substance and its concentration are not known.
- Do not use with a beard, sideburns or other obstacles in the sealing area. Check the face seal before every use.
- According to the instructions for use, do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
- According to the EU declaration of conformity, use only with filters from DS SafetyWear.
The instructions for use of the product are authoritative.

Two filter systems, one full-face mask that always fits
The AG700 has two bayonet connections at the sides and an RD40 round thread in the centre. Before use you choose one option: either two identical bayonet filters or one RD40 filter. The unused connection stays closed with its cap; according to the instructions for use, both systems are never open at the same time.
AGP3R1, AGP3R2, AGA1E1, AGABEKK1 and AGABEKK1P3 fit the bayonet connections, AGP3R, AGA2E2, AGABEK2 and AGABEK2P3 the RD40 thread. More about the connections under Bayonet or RD40.
Up to 400 times the limit value
With a P3 filter or gas filter, a full-face mask is permitted up to 400 times the workplace exposure limit under DGUV Rule 112-190, a half mask only up to 30 times. Class 2 gas filters, permitted up to 0.5 % by volume gas concentration, are only available in the range with an RD40 thread, that is, for the AG700.
Vision and fit
The panoramic visor gives a wide field of view. The head harness is adjusted in two levels: upper first, then lower, until the mask sits firmly and seals. Normal glasses arms lie in the sealing line and disturb the face seal; talk to us if employees need vision correction.
Cleaning and storage
After every use, clean and disinfect inside and out: under running warm water up to 50 °C with mild detergent and a soft brush or sponge. According to the instructions for use, do not use alkaline soap or washing powder. Dry in the air or with a microfibre cloth.
Store the mask so that it does not deform, protected from dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, moisture and chemicals, for example in a plastic container with a lid. Check masks that are kept ready at least once a month. For the mask body the instructions for use state a shelf life of three years if stored correctly.
Putting on in four steps
- 01
Choose the connection
Either two bayonet filters at the sides or one RD40 filter in the centre, never both. Keep the unused connection closed with its cap.
- 02
Fit the filters
Place bayonet filters on and turn until they sit firmly, or screw the RD40 filter in clockwise until tight.
- 03
Put on the mask
Open the harness, place the chin in the mask and pull the harness over the head. Tighten the upper straps first, then the lower ones.
- 04
Check the face seal
Place the palm of your hand over the exhalation valve and exhale slowly. If air escapes at the edge of the mask, reposition it and tighten the straps. Before every use.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use bayonet and RD40 filters at the same time?
One option is chosen before work: two bayonet filters at the sides or one RD40 filter in the centre. The other connection stays closed.
Which filters fit the full-face mask AG700?
All nine AirGuard Pro filters: AGP3R1, AGP3R2, AGA1E1, AGABEKK1 and AGABEKK1P3 on the bayonet connections, AGP3R, AGA2E2, AGABEK2 and AGABEK2P3 on the RD40 thread.
When do I need a full-face mask instead of a half mask?
When the concentration is above 30 times the workplace exposure limit (permitted up to 400 times), when eyes and face must be protected or when class 2 gas filters are needed. See Half mask or full-face mask.
What is included?
One mask body, a storage bag and a set of instructions for use. Filters are ordered separately to suit the job.
What does class 2 mean for the full-face mask?
EN 136 divides full-face masks into three classes: class 1 for light duty, class 2 for general use, class 3 for firefighting. The AG700 is a class 2 mask.
