Warnings
- Particle filters do not protect against gases and vapours.
- Filters do not supply oxygen: do not use where the oxygen content may be too low (below 19.5 % by volume according to the instructions for use), in tanks, pits, shafts and confined spaces, or if the substance and its concentration are not known.
- Use only with the AirGuard Pro masks named in the documents.
The instructions for use of the product are authoritative.

For the full-face mask only
Only the full-face mask AG700 has an RD40 round thread in the AirGuard Pro range. Before screwing in, the bayonet connections at the sides stay closed; only one filter system is ever used. For the half masks there are the bayonet filters AGP3R1 and AGP3R2.
Particles, no gases
P3 retains dust, smoke and mist, but not gases and vapours. If both occur, the RD40 thread takes the combination filters AGA2E2 (A2E2P3) and AGABEK2P3 (A2B2E2K2P3).
According to the instructions for use the filter may be used beyond one shift; store airtight between uses. Replace when breathing becomes noticeably harder, the filter is damaged or the expiry date is reached.
Using correctly
- 01
Open only at the place of use
Take the filter out of its packaging immediately before use and check the expiry date on the filter.
- 02
Screw in centrally
Keep the side connections of the AG700 closed and screw the filter clockwise into the RD40 thread until tight.
- 03
Check the face seal
Place the palm of your hand over the exhalation valve and exhale slowly. If air escapes at the edge of the mask, reposition it and tighten the straps. Before every use.
- 04
Replace in good time
When breathing becomes noticeably harder or the filter is damaged.
