Warnings
- Protects only against particles (dust, smoke, mist), not against gases and vapours.
- The exhalation valve lets exhaled air escape unfiltered: do not use where the surroundings must be protected from the wearer.
- Wear for one working shift at most (NR), then dispose of it. If breathing resistance becomes noticeably high, replace the mask at once.
- Oxygen content at least 17 % by volume. The type and concentration of hazardous substances must be known. If there is a risk of oxygen deficiency, too high a concentration or unknown conditions, use breathing apparatus that is independent of the ambient air.
- Do not use with a beard, sideburns or deep scars in the sealing area. Check the face seal every time you put the mask on.
The instructions for use of the product are authoritative.

Fish Snap design: more room for high wearing comfort
Wearing comfort starts with the shape of a respirator. The Fish Snap design unfolds into a three-dimensional fish shape that creates space in front of mouth and nose. This room can reduce contact of the mask material with the lips and make speaking more pleasant, especially for work that involves regular communication.
The three-part fold allows the nose and chin areas to follow the contours of the face. At the same time it allows freedom of movement for natural jaw movements. With the right size and correct fit this results in a less restricted feel. Especially when respiratory protection is worn regularly, these properties can make a noticeable difference in everyday work.
FFP3 in Fish Snap shape
The 6312 is an FFP3 mask in Fish Snap design with an exhalation valve. Particle protection is the same as for any FFP3 mask: permitted up to 30 times the workplace exposure limit under DGUV Rule 112-190. The design differs from the cup shape of the 6311; which fits better depends on the face shape. That is why samples are available for a wearing trial.
Trying the fit
A good face seal is decisive for disposable masks. Let employees with different face shapes test different designs and check the seal as described. You can request samples directly; more on the subject under Face seal and beards.
Packaging and storage
25 masks per box in a foil bag. Storage in the original packaging at room temperature, protected from sunlight.
Limits and alternatives
Above 30 times the limit value, when eyes need protecting or against gases the mask is not suitable. Then the half mask AG360 or full-face mask AG700 with the right filters is the right choice.
Putting on and checking the face seal
- 01
Put on the mask
Place the mask over nose and mouth and guide the straps over the head as shown in figures 1 to 5 of the instructions for use.
- 02
Adjust the nose clip
Press the nose clip exactly over the nose and squeeze it gently until the mask fits snugly.
- 03
Check the face seal
Cup the mask with both hands and exhale forcefully. If air escapes at the nose, press the clip down harder, otherwise move or shorten the elastic bands.
- 04
Wear for one shift
Wear the mask for one working shift at most. If breathing becomes harder, replace it at once and start again with a new mask.
